There was a significant financial burden from manual tower stress assessments, which also became increasingly inaccurate with the transition from 3G to 4G and now, 5G. The need to manually inspect towers, coupled with overly conservative measures, was resulting in higher costs, sub-optimal operational efficiency, and missed revenue opportunities.
